Meeting Representatives of INTBAU and the School of Planning and Architecture, University of Delhi

16 August 2017

CAPs Secretary-General Clive Harridge recently  met with Deependra Prashad, Secretary of the India Chapter INTBAU (International Network for Traditional Building, Architecture and Urbanism)  and representatives from the Delhi School of Planning and Architecture.

The meeting took place at the University of Delhi and focussed on how INTBAU and the School of Planning and Architecture could help CAPs Rapid Urbanisation Project.  The Project which is now at pilot stage is developing  an on-line planning methodology for use in locations experiencing rapid urbanisation where professional skills and resources are limited.  The Project was launched (via video link) by HRH Prince Charles at CAPs Fiji conference in November 2016 and is being led by the Prince’s Foundation for Building Community with support from CAP, the Commonwealth Association of Architects and the Commonwealth Local Government Forum.
