Please join the webinar 5-10 minutes early.

Our final, critical theme is ‘Environment: Climate Change and Sustainable Blue Economies’. With COVID-19 updates dominating headlines this session will ensure that our important charge to protect our environment and our oceans does not slip off the global agenda.

This session on Youth Friendly Planning: The future of built and marine environments is an exciting approach to raise the awareness on the potential of youth engagement and meaningful participation to create youth-friendly urban plans, while harnessing the blue economic opportunities for achieving more integrated, sustainable and climate resilient cities.

Since its successful launch in July, the series provides a powerful platform for youth-led collaboration and action.

The Commonwealth Action Series is allowing young people to:

  • Explore solutions to a range of issues affecting them, including climate change and youth unemployment;

  • Ideate and agree on actions; and

  • Contribute to the agenda of next Commonwealth Heads of Governments Meeting.
